How to use
Remove D.E. or cartridge filter element from filter casing.
Rinse off loose material on element.
Thoroughly saturate filter element with water.
Spray Cartridge Cleaner over total surface area of filter element for maximum effect.
Rinse element thoroughly with hose (foaming in pool may occur if filter element is not completely rinsed). Especially heavily soiled filter elements may need a second application.

I didn't realize how good this was until I went a week w/o using it. We use our hot tub 3-7 days per week and I clean my filter once a week. I keep my chemicals outside, in a deck container. One week it was so cold that this cleaner was frozen as well as my hose so I just rinsed the filter in the bathtub w/ hot water and moved the container into the breezeway for the winter. The following week I pulled the filter out and it was looking a little grubby. I used this spray and let it sit for 15 minutes while I tended to the chemical balancing. When I rinsed it with the hose I could SEE the grime washing away, leaving the filter looking like new. All of the products I use come from this company and I have to say, they are all very good and more affordable than buying at the local pool store. I especially love the non-chlorine shock. It has greatly reduced the amount of chlorine that I had to add before I started using it.
