DIRECTIONS FOR USE

1. Turn pump off. REMOVE cartridge or filter grids to avoid product from passing through the filtration system.

2. If the leak location is unknown, add the recommended dosage to the skimmer. If you are sure of the location of the leak, pour the recommended dosage directly into the water at the area of the leak.

3. After 30 minutes following application, turn pump on and allow to run for at least 8 hours.

4. Check spa to see if it is still losing water. A second application may be necessary and can be made within the next 24 hours.

5. Replace filter grids or cartridges after 24 hours and resume normal filtration. Spa may be entered 24 hours after application.

DOSAGE AMOUNT

1oz. of Leak Sealer per 500 gallons of water

1.5oz. of Leak Sealer per 750 gallons of water

2oz. of Leak Sealer per 1000 gallons of water

• It is possible that fine fountain jets may block when this product is applied.

How do I use this product?

Directions for Spa Leak Seal Repair

1. Turn pump off.

2. Remove cartridge or filter grids to avoid product from going past the filtration system.

3. If you have identified the leak, simply pour the recommended dosage directly into the water at the area of the leak. If the leak is unidentified, pour the recommended dosage into the skimmer.

4. Wait 30 minutes after application, then turn circulation pump on and run the circulation pump for 8 hours.

5. After 8 hours, check spa to see if it is still losing water. If it's still losing water, apply a second application within the next 24 hours.

6. Replace filter grids or cartridges after 24 hours and resume normal filtration.

7. Wait at least 24 hours before anyone enters the hot tub.

Which pump should it turn on/off? The circulation pump or the jets?

Turn the circulation pump off before using the product. 30 minutes after adding the product, turn the circulation pump back on for 8 hours.

I don't have a skimmer and don't know where the leak comes from. Where should I add the product?

If the leak is unidentified, we’d recommend pouring around the perimeter of the liner.

I have an XYZ-sized hot tub; how much product should I use?

The recommended dosage is 1oz per 500 gallons; therefore, if you have a 1500-gallon hot tub, please add 3oz of the AquaDoc Leak Sealer.

Does this work on vinyl pools?

Yes, the product can be used on the following surfaces. That said, the larger the pool, the less likely our leak sealer is to work. Typically, our leak sealer should only be used for hot tubs and small, above-ground pools. If the leak sealer is not working, contact us for a refund.
