How to use
Initial Application: For best results, apply this product in the morning hours.
Turn off all water features (fountains, waterfalls, etc.)
With pump running, add initial dose of 20 oz. per 10,000 gallons of pool water directly to pool. A second dose may be necessary if water quality is not satisfactory within 72 hours of application.
Run circulation system continuously for up to 6 hours.
Maintenance Dose: Apply 6 oz. of this product per 10,000 gallons of pool water every 5-7 days.
NOTE: Under initial conditions of heavy contamination, some foaming may occur within the first 24-48 hours. This will clear as the treatment progresses.

I did not notice any change in clarity, but there was a higher amount of residue than usual on the bottom after 2 days, which the automatic pool cleaner swept up. I suspect that the efficacy of this enzyme treatment is dependent on the level of impurities in the water, and if there aren't a lot of suspended particles in the water for flocculation to occur, you won't notice a major difference.
