How to use
Use this non-phosphorous product when filling or refilling your spa to prevent metal staining.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Keep circulation pump running and add 16 oz. of this product around the spa waterline for each 625 gallons of spa water.
Circulate the spa water for 30 minutes.

What if I'm still getting scum stains around my waterline?
Metal Prevent is specifically formulated to prevent metal stains, but other particles can still create stains around the waterline. Unfortunately, depending on your environment, metal may be just one of the stain control formulas needed. Limescale and calcium buildup is another common spa issue that requires stain & scale control formula.

Last season we lived with a brownish cloudy tint in our hot tub and didn't really know what the issue was. Turns out it was some residue from the piping and metal components in our older hot tub. We added this product to our hot tub upon filling with fresh water this season and a few weeks in and we've had no issues at all with the brownish cloudy water of last season. Highly recommend!
This product is great at keeping your spa water clean and fresh looking. It removes metals from the water that give it a green or brown tint. Turn on the pump and add the product and circulate for 30 mins - easy peasy!
I have used this over the past month with my swim spa and it works great. Every time I change the water, it is a must to add this product. Leisure Time has great products. They have real clear directions on the amount needed per pool/spa size.

This is great for preventing stains on your hot tub. We have hard water with a high concentration of trace minerals, so out hot tub often ends up with rings and stains. This stuff is great for preventing and removing those rings.
