Well Sealed and Simple to Use Winterizer
This bottle of pool winterizer arrived well sealed. The instructions are simple to follow. All one need do is to add this before closing up the swimming pool, one bottle per 15,000 gallons. The instructions state to have the sanitizer levels low before adding this to the pool./ This is an enzyme based product apparently. I have used enzymes in my spas for several years and they work well at helping to maintain water quality. I look forward to using this in my pool this winter. For now, this is a solid 4 star product which I may update to 5 after using this in the coming winter.
15,000 Gallon (Or less) Pool Closer
This is a proprietary formula that claims to have fewer chemical by using enzymes. It says it creates a barrier for fine particles that sift through a pool cover. It also says it is engineered to perform in cold water situations. I’ve used harsh chemicals in the past and am willing to give Nature’s Remedy a shot when we close our pool here at the farm. Made in the USA. Will update after season.
Just pour it in and forget it…. (to be continue next spring).
Sounds simple enough, just pour it into an already prepped pool before covering it up for the winter. If this is true, then there is a lot of chemicals I will no longer need to mess with - especially the chlorine that usually deteriorate the pool cover. It says it’ll work with in-ground pools, I have a safety cover over my pool and I’ve always encountered run offs during heavy rain. This will be interesting to see when spring comes. For now, I’m ranking it on easy of use and preparation.
Easy to measure out.
It's simple enough to pour it in according to how many gallons your pool has, it has oz measurements on the side and a clear strip so you can see inside. I first shocked my pool then 3 days later added this product, I didn't have time to cover it before it rained heavily and as a result the pool is green right now. I'm not sure if I need to shock and clean the pool before adding this again or maybe just add the rest. Either way I have no way of telling how this works until next season.
Tell me to wait until spring open the pool to see if it was effective
Tell me the way to Spring to open the pool to see if it was effective. I took a peek and the water is clear and it's been a butt. 2 months month and a 1/2, so get so far. I'd buy it again.
