Available in 12,000-gallon and 24,000-gallon options to suit your pool size.
1. Vacuum and clean all the debris from the pool floor and skimmer baskets.
2. Adjust the pH level to 7.4–7.6 using soda ash or pH reducer as needed.
3. Turn off and clean your salt chlorine generator
(SCG) per manufacturer instructions.
4. Lower the water level according to your pool
manufacturer’s recommendations for winter closing.
5. Consult your pool professional to properly
winterize your salt cell, plumbing, and filter system.
6. Add 1 Pound of Winter Oxidizer per 12,000
gallons of water.
• Dissolve in a bucket of water first, then pour evenly around the pool.
• This helps oxidize contaminants without overloading the salt cell.
7. Add 1 Quart (32 ounces) of Winter Stain & Scale agent per 24,000 gallons to prevent metal staining,especially if you’ve had scale or high calcium levels.
• Broadcast evenly over the surface.
8. Add 1 Quart (32 ounces) of Winter Enzyme per
24,000 gallons.
• Helps minimize waterline buildup and maintain cleaner water during the
off-season.
9. Cover your pool with a properly fitted winter
cover.
Be sure to follow the wait times between steps to let each treatment work before moving on.
- Keep the pump running
- After Step 6: wait 1 hour
- After Step 7: wait 30 minutes
- After Step 8: let it circulate 2 hours, then cover
